Louise Drake

Louise was raised in Crumpler, North Carolina which lies in the midst of the Blue Ridge Mountains. She played volleyball and softball in both high school and college. She graduated in 1986 from Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC with a degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, Louise moved to Yulee, Florida and began her teaching career at Yulee Primary. In December of 1997 she graduated from the University of North Florida with Master’s in Elementary Education and in 2001, earned National Board Certification which she currently still holds. Louise taught for 35 years in Nassau County School system before retiring in July of 2021.
